The services we provide include :
Audit and Accounting Services
- We provide Accountancy services to a good number of large, medium and small sized organizations, institutions and corporations;
- We provide statutory audits to a good number of public and private companies, government organizations, Non – for- profit organizations, multinationals, international agencies, and other institutions;
- Financial audits, due diligence, forensic accounting and investigations on behalf of clients and supervisory authorities and, court appointed experts;
- Acting as share Auditors and Reporting Accountants to Public Issues and restructuring of corporation entities: mergers and partial divestitures of autonomous branches of corporate entities.
Taxation, Labour & acting as board and general meeting secretary and preparing minutes
- Provision of tax consultancy to public and private companies and high net worth individuals;
- Tax advisory services to both private and public companies engaged in various businesses in Cameroon and Overseas;
- Carrying out computation of client’s tax liabilities and filing obligations, liaising with the Revenue authorities;
- Agreeing and attending to queries from revenue authorities on behalf of clients and supporting them during and after tax audits which could be long and give rise to huge amounts of back taxes which we help to reduce by reviewing relevant tax laws and regulatory pronouncements.
- Organization of tax seminars to sensitize clients on changes in the tax laws and on specific difficult areas; production of a tax and labour news-letters.
- Incorporation of legal entities for our clients, secretarial services as company secretaries.
Financial Advisory Services
- Due diligence : a comprehensive strategic and financial investigation into a potential acquisition target or joint venture partner;
- Valuation : providing professional advisory services on business for sale, acquisition, or corporate restructuring;
- Post-acquisition and integration reviews : assisting and advising on the vital process of integrating two businesses in the most effective way in order to maximize the realization of benefits;
- Transaction structuring : including tax planning, accounting, treasury and financial aspects.
- Structuring partial assets transfer involving the transfer of an autonomous and complete branch of a business from one entity to another, either as an internal restructuring scheme when the transferring and the receiving entities belong to the same group, or otherwise, where they belong to unrelated entities. This allows the participating companies to benefit from a favourable tax regime, intended to encourage business expansion. We have recently finalized one such scheme under the direction and active involvement of Edward Nambouh, the Managing Partner of Akintola Williams & Co.
- We also assist our clients in preparing loan requests, negotiating such loans with regional development banks. Our recent involvement in this area, led to the granting of a 3.5 billion francs CFA seven year loan to our client by the Central African States Development Bank( BDEAC – Banque de Développement des Etats de l’Afrique Centrale).
